F-O-U-R!!

This cutie turned four October 31st, 2013.  He was so excited too!  Just look at that face.

Having a birthday on Halloween can be tricky.  There is so much activity and things going on and so much sugar!!  It's hard to get in everything.  So far he's been pretty okay at sharing the day with the holiday and is willing to have birthday celebrations on other days.  We did open presents and have cake after some trick or treating.  (It was a rainy year so they didn't stay out as late as they could have).  And THESE faces are what you get with a sugar high, excited birthday boy!

We did his Birthday party that weekend.  I decided on a Construction theme and he was happy to oblige.  And here are some of the details...

Grandma Blake was here for a visit so she got to enjoy the birthday festivities with him.  And of course Ala G&G came over for the fun too.  Here they are playing his new game from Grandma Blake.

Super Mario Bros!

I took the kiddos to a halloween store to give them ideas on what to be and Jackson decided he wanted to be Mario.  The store bought costume was $40!  I thought that was ridiculous and knew I could make it cuter and cheaper.  So I convinced Jonah to be Luigi and went to town on making their costumes.  Of course, I had to get Grey in on the theme and decided to do toadstool.

I had so much fun with the costumes and really, really love how they turned out!

Halloween Trunk or Treat at the church.  There were a couple other Mario and Luigis so we had to snap a picture. :)

The boys invited their neighbor friend to the trunk or treat.  They were so proud to be missionaries and I'm glad he was able to come with them.

Jonah at his preschool.  Such cute kids all dressed up! :)

9 Months

This little pumpkin turned 9 months old and was busy busy with all his new developments!

First time sitting up in the grocery cart, AND it was a car cart, so what's better than that?!  Hard to believe my baby lookin' like a big boy with his big brother next to him!

He also started this...  He doesn't crawl on his hands and knees yet, but he can pull himself up now.  It started on the knees, but soon turned to the feet.  Once he figured that one out he was crawling up the stairs.

Greyson also got his first haircut at 9 months.  His red hair is to die for, but it was getting a bit (okay a lot) out of control.

It's always hard cutting a wiggly babies hair, but I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself.  He seems to like it too! :)

Outstanding October

Jonah started his first year of preschool! Because of the October birthday, he will have two years of preschool before starting Kindergarten.  We decided to do the high school program for this first year.  It is more low key and we think it's a good introduction to a structured "school" environment.  He was so excited to start!  The high school kids are so sweet and he has really enjoyed it.

I volunteered to go on a field trip with Jackson.  They went to a park, had lunch and played in the leaves.  It was a COLD day, but the kiddo's loved running around and it was fun to see Jackson with his school friends.

Our sweet little niece, Mollie, was blessed.  I made her little bow and bracelet for the big day.

And I had to throw this one in cause nothin's better than three men in a tub, rub a dub a dub! :)

Oh yeah... and this happened.  Baby #4 coming in June 2014!!!

8 Months

That tongue.  Oh how I love when he pokes that little, adorable, oh so cute, tongue out at me.  I can't help snap a million pictures :)

Maybe it's because he is the third child, but he is just so chill and go with the flow type kid.  Doesn't matter how busy we are and how often we are off "schedule" for naps, etc, he is always so happy.  I loved how he was holding onto his foot as he drifted off to sleep for yet another car seat nap.

Bath time!  And he's so private about it :)

More time at the Dr's office trying to figure out what's causing all the puking... look how itty bitty he is!  This was the last appointment at the GI specialists and where we decided to go back to the normal sensitive formula and let it be what it was going to be.  (He grew out of it about this time anyway).

And still army crawling away.  Little guy gets stuck under a chair about 20 times a day, but he doesn't seem to mind! :)
