Easter

Our Easter festivities started out at the Branch party.  Easter Egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself!

Decorating and Dying Eggs:

Easter Morning:  (I somehow lost all my really cute pictures I took of the kids on Easter from my phone.  I'm so sad cause there were so many good ones.  Good thing we still had Justin's)

Two Months

At two months Greyson weighted 10 lbs 9 oz (16th percentile) at his checkup.

He started to give us real smiles!!  Nothing better than babies first smiles! :)

Greyson took his first bath with his brother.  Jonah is his mommy's boy and loves baths, so he kept begging to get in with the baby.

Fresh baby right out of a bath! :)

We have always felt strongly about swaddling little babies to help them sleep longer.  Its always a sad day when they become a swaddle blankie escapee, cause you know they are getting bigger.

Practicing his tummy time.  Such a strong boy!

He loves the swing and often gets daytime naps swaddled in the swing if he is having a hard time going to sleep in his crib.  He also loves having his soft blanket wrapped near his face.

We all love having him around and can't get enough of our Grey Bug!!

Greyson's Blessing

Greyson was blessed on March 3rd, 2013.  It was such a perfect day and he looked absolutely adorable in his white suit.

We planned on having the blessing the first weekend of March, not thinking there would be a problem with it.  So my parents booked their plane tickets out here.  When we presented the date to the branch presidency, we found out that Sunday was our Stake Conference.  Since my parents were coming out for it, we decided to just have the blessing in our home (just like Jonah!).  I actually really loved it and feel like it makes it an even more special event.

We invited some friends and leaders from the Branch over as well as their families, and of course our own family members.  Afterwords we ate cake and enjoyed chatting for a while.

(Left to Right: Joe Murphy,  Uncle Jordan, Uncle Jeff, Ala Grandpa, Daddy, Grandpa Blake, Art Tsubaki, Ted Griffis, Perry Moss, and President Paul Staumann)

So grateful to have wonderful and worthy Priesthood holders in our family!

Justin gave a great blessing and we just love having Greyson Alma in our family.  He is such a good baby!

And as a bonus to the event... we had these people here for the whole weekend!  Loved spending time with them!

March Madness

My little leprechauns celebrating St. Patty's Day.

Justin showed up from work one day with a new snow sled.  He didn't even care that it was dark, he was determined to take the boys sledding.  Night sledding with Daddy?!  THE.BEST.EVER!

The boys friend, Giana, turned 5 and invited them to her gymnastics party.  They had a blast!!  Little Jonah on the zip line just killed me! ;)  It was nice to get out for a bit and burn off some of their energy.

Movie night!  We rented Brave and snuggled up together.  I'm not sure why Jonah looks so concerned. haha :)

Hanging with Ala Grandma and Uncle Jordan.  This was Greyson's first visit to Grandma's house.  He loved it.

And then there was the shenanigans of this kid:

He has seemed to be perfectly fine and loving with Greyson around.  We wondered how he would adjust not being the baby anymore and being a little bit older.  Well we thought he was doing great but then there were a couple of times that we just felt like he was crying out for attention.  For example this awesome disaster he made of the toy room!  Then one day he colored all over his cheeks and told me he wanted to be a different person.  To which I told him I didn't want him to be anyone other than Jonah.  His reply?  "I'm trying to be Michael Jordan!"  Silly silly boy!

You had a birthday- Shout hooray!

Turning 27!  Justin made me a cake and we had a family get together with Jeff, Emily, Norah and Uncle Jordan.

I needed a super warm coat being here in the cold mid west, and not to mention my coat that I had been wearing was the coat I got when I was a sophomore in high school!  It was about time for an upgrade.  I love my new North Face parka!

And my sweet primary presidency brought me a birthday cake to one of our presidency meetings.  Mariah baked it for me, and she even brought candles and they sang Happy Birthday.  The kids love birthdays (no matter who it is) if they get to have cake! :)
