Our bishop is a potatoe farmer and has a few fields not far from Rexburg. One evening some of the members of the ward went and gleened his field. (For those who don't know what that means, it is just going and getting the left over's that the combine doesn't pick up or that falls from the truck).

We got TONZ of potatoes in just a few minutes. (Way more than we can eat ourselves, therefore we gave a few bags away) Justin says that he finally feels okay leaving Idaho now that he gleened a potatoe field.

OH MY GOOD GOSH!!! I can't believe you got all those potatoes from GLENNING a field. That's awesome can you bring some back for our thanksgiving dinner????
That's so awesome! I'm FROM idaho and lived in idaho all my life- i even have an aunt and uncle who own a potato farm and I've NEVER gleaned a potato field! haha- i'm sure that was a fun experience. hopefully someday i'll come back to idaho and glean a field! :) Yummy- i love potatoes.
I love potatoes!! I was telling my co-workers about the sign that said "free taters for outer-staters"... Do you remember that? They don't have it up anymore. My co-workers loved it!
When you are finished gleaning Idaho's fields come glean ours! We have like six huge potato fields!!! We eat potatoes like every night if you need some recipes. Cute pumpkins!
