It's REAL now...

Well, as was mentioned, Justin flew down to Memphis TN for an interview at Southern College of Optometry. He felt like everything went really well and he enjoyed visiting the campus. It was a short trip and he would have liked to stay longer to check out Memphis... but he had a good time.
Now for the news: He got a call from them today, inviting him to attend SCO! He was really excited and they told him that it wasn't a hard decision at all. They said his application was impressive and the interview went great.

It's REAL now, because that was the only school he was interested in, and was the only school he applied to. I guess now in my free time I'll have to start looking for places to live in TENNESSEE! (weird. crazy.)

I'm super proud of Justin, he has worked hard for this. I know it is his dream and I'm excited to support him in the new stage of life. Thanks to everyone's support and prayers.

CONGRATS!!! Justin we knew you would impress! Wow. that really is crazy. I'm so excited for you guys but it's nuts that you'll be moving so far away. Guess we better start saving up some airline miles :)

Justin you're a stud! I bet it is awesome to finally have some set in stone plans. I know how hard it is to hope and just run on faith. I am sure everything will be great. I will go crazy being farther away from your wife but thank goodness for phones.
Hayes... Shawna told me that she fed Tanner a bottle almost everytime she finished nursing. She didn't on her girls ...but Tanner just ate a lot. I am praying for you and I know you are probably the best mom ever. Someday we will have a play date. Good luck on searches for Memphis (doctor, pediatrician, housing, good shopping!, new friends, adventure, places Justin has to take you on dates, ect)

Hey! I was just blog searching to see if I could find any of my old friends from Memphis. I saw that you are headed that way. While we were at SCO we lived in the Meadows apartments in the direction of Bartlett. Look it up . . . you'll love it and there are so many students in that area. I have to say I feel a little jealous. It was such a fun 4 years. Enjoy it! You're going to meet some amazing people! Feel free to ask us any questions on our blog!
