(to continue on with the vaca)...

Sunday was our first real day in Illinois. It was also Justin's 25th BIRTHDAY! It was fun for him to be able to spend his birthday in Illinois with his family.
We had a really good day. It started out with us going to church and showing off our baby. (He cried through most of it though, until finally he passed out in my arms, and that was the only time we could really show how cute he was... when he was sleeping!)

Next, Jordan got his patriarical blessing that night. We all drove over to the Stake Center and he wanted us to come in for it. The cool thing was that when we got there (around 4:00) Justin kept saying that I should feed him so that he was fussy during the blessing. But because he was sleeping and he didn't have to eat till about 5:00 I didn't want to wake him. Jordan was talking to the patriarc alone first, and he didn't even start the blessing until 5:00. We were nervous about Jackson waking, but he didn't until it was all over. He was a little angel!!
After that we came home and Justin's mom and dad made him a special bday dinner. (steak and cheesy potatoes YUM) We then had a little party with cake and present openings.

Justin also had a surprise when his 4 friends from high school showed up. Some of them he hasn't seen for 6 years!! He was really excited about that.

The other people in the picture are some friends from the branch, and Grandma Johnson.
