Thanksgiving Day

Our Thanksgiving day was very enjoyable. The feast was fantastic and the celebrations were fun. The group consisted of the Johnson family, Grandma Johnson, Jamie & Derek Webb (from the branch) and the missionaries.

Before the feast began, I went around the room with my video camera and asked what everyone was thankful for this year. The common themes were eternal families, and our Savior's blessings. It is so good to reflect on that which we are thankful for, because I know Justin and I have a lot of blessings in our lives.

The highlights of the year was the arrival of our sweet baby boy and for his health and proper development. Also, the blessing of being accepted to Optometry school and knowing we have a good future ahead of us.

I am also EXTREMELY grateful for my family. I am grateful for my parents, my brothers and their wives, my parent-in-laws, and my brother and sis-in-laws. I am also grateful for my cute nephew and niece whom I love so much. I am grateful for all their love and support and all of their examples.
