Jackson turned 4 months yesterday! It is hard to believe how big he has gotten already. He has changed so much and has gotten so dang fun! At 4 months Jackson:
Has gotten a lot more interested in toys! He loves to hold things, put them in his mouth, and reach out for his toys. It is nice to be able to distract him with toys for a while! :)He loves the "exersaucer" that Todd and Amy let us use. He loves to stand up in it and turn circles!
Is a rolling machine! He rolls really really well from his back to his stomach. He has rolled a few times to his stomach to his back, but he hasn't quite mastered that one yet.
Loves to be up and about! He loves to be held, carried, loves to stand, and sit up. Sometimes it gets exhausting for me, but I try to do what makes him a happy baby. (sigh.. I love my little man!)
Reaches for anything in sight! We put him in the bebe pod (aka the bumbo) and he can sit up and play with toys, or whatever else is in sight. He reaches for toys, food, bags, faces, hair, blankets, shirts, ANYTHING! And once he gets a grip... he holds on for dear life (believe me I know from some hair pulling experience)
Sticks out his tongue. He has always kinda played with his tongue, but the last few days he has discovered that it can stick far out and stay there for a while. He holds it out and points it to a tip. He then tries to talk with it out, and it is so funny.And last but not least: At 4 months he has gotten SO DANG CUTE! :)
4 month doctor's Check-up:
Just in case you care his 4 month dr's visit went awesome! He is a healthy and beautiful baby. He weighed a whopping 13 lbs 12 oz. (27th %)
He was 26 inches long (86th %)... he is a tall skinny little sucker.
He did GREAT with his shots. Only cried a little bit and was comforted right away. His 2 month shots didn't go that well so I was proud of my strong little boy.

Oh... he really is so dang cute!! And getting cuter all the time. When I very first opened the page and the top picture popped up, for just a second I saw a little of Easton... although it might have just been the funny matching fishy face they have :) Jackson is 7 pounds lighter than Easton but only 3.5 inches shorter (E just had his 1 year checkup yesterday). --Jackson's a tall guy!! I love all the pictures he's so handsome and has such beautiful eyes!
I cannot express in words how much I love these posts. To see Jackson growing and watching all he is able to do. But I will tell you that it literally makes my arms ache to hold him. Hay I hope you will be ready for some pesty inlaws when you are closer in Tennessee. I LOVE THAT LITTLE MAN TOO and his Mom and his Dad :)

I think that first picture is just SO DARN CUTE! I can't believe how big he is. I am sorry I am such a slacker friend and didn't get to see you and the little man over the holidays. I suck suck suck. I know you are even moving to Tennessee. The very thought brings a tear to my eye, and I am not even lying. Dang it. I will call you next time we are in Idaho...who knows when that will be! When are you moving for sure? I have to at least see you before then! AHHHHH!!!!

You have been doing an awesome job at posting.... Love it!!! Jackson has changed just since I saw him last week! I feel for Donna, because I can hardly stand it. If the roads weren't so nasty and I didn't have to go visiting teaching I would be there right now! Love you all!!!
Man Haylee, you went crazy-- lots of posts! But Jackson is SO dang cute. I can totally see you in him. What a cutie. Looks like you had a great christmas in utah and idaho. how fun. I want to see your little boy. Good news-- I'm going to be in Idaho Feb. 8th-11th for my sister, Katie's farewell. SO- we need to meet up. I am going to try to go the the Rexburg Temple-- so I'll call you when I'm in the burg. And we WILL meet up dang it!! :) I am so happy for you and the little guy. You look SO cute. Cute hair, cute face face!! Also- Charlsie should be getting back around March-April... so we need to plan a reunion!! Yay! Hopefully in the summer. Anyway, you are cute, your family is cute, miss ya!
Oh-- and WHEN are you moving??!! How far away is Tennessee from Texas? HMMMM...

Hey girlfriend! Cute baby!! It makes me excited to do this again and watch another baby grow (from sticking out their tongue to grabbing toys). I love that bebe pod and will have to invest in one. Do you like it? Has Jackson ever fallen out of it or anything???
