Christmas Highlights:

This year we spent a couple of weeks in Idaho Falls with my family. It was so nice to get a break and for extra hands to carry Jackson around! :) All of my brothers and their wives were with us so it was a lot of good times. Here are some of the highlights:

Gingerbread Houses:

One evening all the couples made gingerbread houses together. Everyone had a lot of fun, and after a few collapses, they all ended up looking really good. It was especially fun to see my dad get so into the activity, but that is no surprise... it had to do with the fact that we were building houses! :)
Playing in the snow:

On Christmas Eve the snow was falling hard and we got a very white Christmas. There was about 9 inches that fell just that night. Justin had the idea of playing snow football, and the boys had a good time with that.
Jamie, Amy, and I hung out for a while but we weren't quite as ambitious as the boys.
This was the first time that Jackson was really out in the snow, so we bundled him up in his bunting and took him out for a while. Then Uncle Todd took him and Justin on a sled ride around the yard. He loved it and screeched and squealed the whole time.
We then hung out inside with the babies and watched while the snow continued to fall. It was beautiful, and these babies are pretty sweet too!
Christmas Eve:

Keeping with tradition, we had our Christmas Eve Feast at our house. It was soooo yummy and my mom does a better and better job with it every year! :) We had Grandma and Grandpa Gardner over and a friend of my Dads. We then gave G&G their gifts and opened our Christmas Eve Jammies.

Jackson opened his first present ever and got his first set of Jammies. Here he is in his new jammies ready to sleep in anxious anticipation for Santa to come!

Jackson's VERY FIRST Christmas:
Jackson had fun opening all the gifts that he received. The bows and the paper did seem to be his favorite! He hung in good though with all the action that was going on.Easton also celebrated his first Christmas. He loved the action as well! Grandma and Grandpa got him the big truck and he just loved it! He started pushing it around and dancing when he saw it. It was so cute! Here we are all with our family gift.

And the BUFF Justin lifting his 25 lb dumbbells.

We all got some great gifts and were spoiled beyond belief. It was fun to get the gifts, but it was even better to be able to celebrate around those whom we love. Before opening gifts we read the book by Jeffery R. Holland called "Shepards Why this Jubilee" It helped bring in the true Spirit of Christmas. I am so grateful for the blessings my Savior has blessed me and my family with. It was a great Christmas!
