Jackson's 6 month check up:
Jackson Weighed in at 16 lbs 14 oz. (37%)
He was 27.5 Inches tall (84%)
At 6 months Jackson:
- Gets in the hands and knees position and rocks back and forth. I'm sure it'll be only a matter of time before he gets the hands/knees crawl mastered... in the mean time he still does the "worm" crawl
- Sits up like a champ. He'll sit on the floor for a long time and play with toys or watch Baby Einstein or Baby Signing Times
- Loves to play and smiles and giggles a lot. His favorite games are flying in the air, tickle wars, peek a boo with a blanket, getting tossed and rolling around on the bed, shoulder rides, and funny faces/songs/talking.
- Has started getting a temper. If I take something away that he wants he gets so frustrated at me, tenses his whole body, tightens his fist, gets a red face, and grunts or screams out. (p.s. why is it that they always want what they can't have??)
- Loves his fruits and veges. The one thing that he hasn't loved is the bananas.
- Eats finger foods and drinks from a sippy cup. He also tries to be an even bigger boy by drinking from mom and dad's cups.
- Is an independent boy! Sometimes when I hold him, he pushes off of me and just wants down to play and explore. He has no time to cuddle!! :)
- Is beginning to sleep completely through the night.... (this one mom and dad love!!)

I can't believe how big he is and how adorable! It has been almost 6 months since I saw you then, becuase he was tiny when we last saw him. It's amazing how fast he has grown and how he has totally developed his own personality. What fun. He is such a cute baby...and what a good mommy you are Hay!
oh my goodness- I can't believe how big Jackson is! And he gets cuter and cuter every day! I am going to have to spend as much time with him as I can before you guys move! love you!
Wow! What a big boy, he has out grown Kate! I am glad she can't crawl yet, I haven't baby-proofed. He is so handsome, love you!
Awww... I can't believe what a big boy he is!!! And cute as always! You'll have lots of fun with him this summer when he can roam around outside! Easton is learning to get frusterated when I take something from him or if he can't have something he wants... why can't they just stay little forever??
What a fun post! He is such a cutie. I love the pen picture too. I can't believe he is ready to crawl like a big boy. His eyes are just so beautiful. Just think, all your babies are going to have super blue eyes like that. How fun is that?!
