Happy Mother's Day

Today was my first official Mother's Day. (Last mother's day I was pregnant) But before I talk about how my mother's day went, I need to shout out to the wonderful mother's in my life. This picture was taken two year's ago. My beautiful mother on the left and my wonderful mother in law on the right.

I love my mom so much!! She is no doubt my best friend (besides my husband of course). I can talk to her about anything and she is always there for me. If I have a problem, she will drop what she is doing to talk to me or be with me. She truly wants the best for me.
My mom is beautiful inside and out. There are times that I can see myself in her and I am grateful that my genes come from a beautiful woman.
My mom makes me laugh!! She has such a fun sense of humor and she can laugh at herself when she is a "dork." I am glad that she has taught me how to do that because I'm a "dork" often myself. :) One quick story I can think of.... She called me telling me that she went to a store recently (that she thought was another store). She was talking to one of the associates and said, "I've been to your store in Rexburg a couple of weeks ago." The lady looked confused and said, "Hmm, we don't have a store in Rexburg." haha and she just had to laugh at herself! I was so glad she called me to tell me too because things like that I love about my mom. She is so cute! :)

I also have a great mother in law. She has made me feel like her own daughter and has welcomed me into her family with open arms. I quickly became very close to my mother in law and can open up with her easily... maybe too easily because I like to tease her a lot. :) She is so fun to talk to and I look forward to her phone calls to me and to Justin. I have enjoyed that she has had multiple opportunities to visit us even though she lives in Illinois. I am grateful that I have a good relationship with her, and that I don't have the "dreaded mother in law syndrome"

Happy Mother's Day to the rest of you wonderful mothers who do so much!!

I had a great mother's day. I went to church and got muffins, bread, and a plant. I had Jackson with me all day and he was an extra good boy today. He slept in for me (a great present), and he took a great nap after church (another great present)! He makes me smile so much and I love getting down and playing with him. He laughs at me and I laugh with him! I am so lucky to have such a GREAT baby! I love him so much and I adore being a mother.

Justin made the day special by fixing me dinner, doing the dishes, and getting me this beautiful willow tree statue. Thanks babe for giving me a great mother's day! I love you.

Happy Mother's Day! Yay for being a mom! I know you have great examples of motherhood in your fam but you have to admit that you have done a pretty amazing job yourself this last year. You deserve to be honored. I am so glad you and Justin decided to be parents and I love hearing about your motherhood! That picture just made me realize how grown up we are. You make a beautiful mommy!
