We spent a couple of days there, and I still don't think it was long enough! :)
Sunday:
We mostly just hung out on Sunday. We went on a little drive up to Big Springs. This is where we used to go as kids and feed the fishes. These fish that live here are HUGE!! At first we couldn't see any, so Justin started to just feed the fat Seagulls. Finally, Grandpa Terry spotted some of the fish and we had fun watching them for a while.
Great Grams decided to take the little Jack man on a short ride on the four-wheeler. Then we made a safety belt and strapped him up on Dad and took him on a ride.... he really wasn't quite sure about it.
Grandpa Terry has found himself a new hobby. He has been spending quite a bit of time making these really neat bird houses. He has done great at his new "crafts" and they turned out really awesome!
Jackson has a little gray truck that he really likes to crawl around with and play with. Grandpa Terry had a big remote control truck that he got down to show Jackson. He first started to chase it, but then he kind of got scared of it. He was only willing to watch it zoom around, but he didn't want to touch it... haha silly boy.
And last, after a long fun day, Jackson got to take a bath in Grandma's BIG TUB! She has a big Jacuzzi.
Monday:
The day started out with Justin and I going out on the four-wheelers. This is what the opening of the "secret-trail" looks like now... it's not so secret anymore! (For those who do not know, my Grandma made a trail a long time ago and called it the secret trail. It was so small and only a few people knew about it. It is now a popular trail)
We rode over to the skipping pond and threw a few rocks in the lake. (Check out that form!)
After our long and DUSTY ride, we decided to clean ourselves off by getting in the lake. We had a blow-up raft and inter tube. 1-We got Jackson in the boat and headed out... he was not having fun. 2-Great-grams saved him and sat with him for awhile. 3-Mom had to show him that the lake wasn't that bad, and 4-FINALLY he got out on the tube with Dad and 5-I pushed them around... he finally was having some fun!
Jackson's favorite thing by far at the cabin was playing pool! Justin and I also had a good time playing... and I've just got to say we had quite a few close games, but I pulled through most of the time and won! Okay, Okay in Justin's defense he won a few times too! :)

Well it was so hard to say goodbye to the Cabin and to my Grandma and Grandpa for 4 years. I will miss them so much! I've always been close to my Grandma and we've been lucky to have her close in distance too... she will be missed! I got a sweet email from her after we got back from the weekend. She said, "I was bawling my self watching you kids drive up the hill and away. All the years we've had the cabin, my favorite times is when you and your brothers would come up to spend time with Grams ... yes, there are so many memories of fun and adventure. Those times have been so few & far between once you all grew up and had your own families. So you have no idea how much it meant to me to have you & your little family there to bring back those loving memories. Terry said tonight that he'd never seen me so happy ... after he asked me to give the blessing and then I made a toast to my family. He said my face just beamed with love & happiness. Well I felt every bit the love for you, Justin & Jackson. What a darling little boy."

All I can say is where one book closes another one opens ;) Jackson is a DOLL. I can't believe his hair!! You've got an awesome close family Haylee.
I love the preggy picture of you on the 4-wheeler! You guys will surely be missed why you are in Tennessee.
What a fun weekend. I'd LOVE to go see my grandma for the weekend. You guys are so lucky!! Jackson is such a cutie too.
What a fun post! I love your grandma by the way. She is such a sweetie. That email was so cute! I can't believe the summer is already over and it is time for you guys to be gone. When did that happen?? Good luck guys!!! And Jackson is sooo big -again when did that happen?
Thanks for sharing such a great & heart felt time for your family. The pics of you all are beautiful. Your grandma looks like a sweet heart. Just the kind of grandma everyone dreams of having. I can't wait to meet you & your family. I know it is hard to leave your family, but God will help you through. And, you have a great support system, your man!!!! I have always told my David, I could live anywhere, even in a cardboard box, as long as he was by my side. Justin looks like that kind of husband. You two look like you have that kind of relationship. Your eyes & your face tell the wonderful story of love and commitment that you have to each other. :) Be blessed & have a safe trip. See you all soon. Love Cheryl
What a fun weekend. I'm sure Grams was just in heaven to have you!! Good luck with getting settled in, we can't wait to hear all about it and see LOTS of pictures! Love you guys!!
I saw your pregnant belly and before I read the caption I thought to myself "I had no idea she was pregnant again! I don't remember reading an announcement or anything. And she hasn't been pregnant in other pictures..." And then I read the caption and noticed the important part "last year..." Wow, I'm dumb.
