I figured it was one of two things. First, he was teething finally. I heard from quite a few people that their babies got fevers when they were teething. I kept thinking it was this and was dreading the rest of the teething process because this was BAD! Or second, he just had a virus and most likely a sore throat.
The third day he was doing better, but still not 100%. And that day he was DROOLING DROOLING DROOLING! This led me to believe it was teething, but also it could be the sore throat and he'd rather drool than swallow.
By yesterday he was back to his normal self, the drooling stopped, and guess what?! NO TEETH! He is 10 months old and no teeth still.
One good thing is that now I know it wasn't teething and hopefully that means teething wont be that bad.

Poor thing! I put my finger in Kate's mouth and discovered tooth number 6! It is really far back in her mouth. Will he let you rub his gums? If a tooth is close you should be able to feel it starting to poke through. Kate's always look red and swollen and I can feel them. You will be able to feel the sharpness a few days before you can see the tooth. If you put something sweet (I use infant toothpaste made by the baby orajel company) on your clean finger, he might let you rub his gums. I am glad he is feeling better.
Haylee- It very well could be teething! It sounds like it to me anyway. Brynn started teething on april first and didn't actually see a tooth till a month and a half later. It hurts before you see it. And the life savor for teething are those teething peels. Every kid is different but it worls wonders for Brynn! Hey i need your e-mail... e-mail it to jen_banana@hotmail.com
my kids all get their teeth super late...Ali didn't get her first until close to her first birthday. I talked to my doctor about it and he said it is totally normal ..as long as they have teeth by two. And if they don't by then you should worry. Good luck!
Jackson just looks so sad in those pictures! What a cute little guy though. He is getting so big. Unfortunately, I have no advice for you about teeting since I do not remember my own teething and I have no children yet!
Like Jenna said, (and she stole what I was gonna say cuz she's a stinker), he could have been teething. The teeth don't pop out right after the fever and sad days. Hang in there. Sadie was sick on the 4th too, but from heat exhaustion. She was miserable and only wanted me too, for like almost 3 days. Anyway, glad he is doing better, and maybe he's got some teeth on the way!
OH those little pictures are sad...you can just tell he doesn't feel good, looking at his eyes. Hope you are ALL doing better now. Give him a big squeeze from Grandma
Sick babies are not fun. I hope you've survived. I'm glad he's feeling better though!
