We got to our apartment and our car said the outside temp was 100 degrees. We talked to the manager who said that with humidity the heat index was 112 degrees. My dad was dying and refused to move in this heat. We waited till about 8:00p.m. and it was still probably 98 degrees. We had a lot of help which was so nice. There were probably about 15 or more guys from the Elders Quorum there to help. They were all dripping with sweat as they brought things in, so I just had to get some pictures.
You will be getting more complete pictures of our apartment later (after everything is hung and decorated). You will see in these pictures my new favorite thing... our very own washer and dryer! Thanks Mom and Dad (our graduation present)!!

What is that pyramid looking thing in the city?
The pyramid used to be were the Memphis Grizzlies played, but they moved to a new building - the Fed Ex Forum. So we have been told that they haven't found a use for the pyramid building yet.
