The Eye 5K

Justin's school sponsored a 5k race this weekend. We decided to run in it and I even pushed Jackson in the stroller nearly the whole way (Justin finished before me and came and relieved me of that near the end).
We have a friend that goes to school with Justin who is an Olympic runner! He ran in Beijing this year. There is a part of the course that you have to run back on and while I was still running on that part for the first time, he was on his way back and passed me!! His wife who is 8 months pregnant even did better than I did! :)
I am not a runner... I only do it to get in shape and to be active. So my time wasn't great, but it is okay, it is only for fun. Justin did great though!

Kudo's to you girlfriend!!!! And Justin too!! :) You guys are so awesome. I would love just do something like that to get in shape & be healthier. I keep telling myself, one day....one day. I love watching how active your family is. When I had my boys (back in the dinosaur age), I gave up who I was & focused on being a "mommy". Now my boys are almost out of high school & I have to find out who I am. It is so cool that you are still active & have a life. As Donna says... Way to go!!!! I am proud of you & for you!!! :) Blessings...Cheryl

Wow Haylee! and Justin. I am proud of both of you. What an example you are setting for little Jackson Roo! I really need to get back to some exercise program. I'm really feeling how out of shape I am!
