Mid-South Fair

We went to the mid-south fair this week with some friends. This was our conclusion about fairs:
1- You pay a load for parking
2- You pay even more for the entrance fee
3- You pay an arm and a leg for any rides/games
4- You pay your other arm and leg for a lemonade and a funnel cake
5- They put way too much ice in your drink and not enough drink so that you'll have to pay more for a refill
6- Funnel Cakes are not as good as we thought... it tasted like a big waffle
7- Fairs are still ghetto and white trash as they always were.
8- Jackson only measured 28 inches and even the kiddy rides require kids to be 42 inches. So for all those who live around here and are wondering if you should go to the mid-south fair... unless you want to loose all body parts in order to pay for it, don't go!
It was fun to hang out with our friends though! :)

I would have to agree about the crazy prices that people charge at fairs! It's insane! It looks like fun though!

Got to love a fair! I haven't been in over 10 years. Looks like I'm not missing much... I guess I'll keep my body parts in tact.

Love the picts of Jackson though... That was worth going to the fair to get.

Sorry that you lost all your limbs at the fair. The Eastern Idaho State fair was fun, it was cheaper but that doesn't mean any less red-neck mullets to see! You'll have to come home soon to the land of cheap entertainment!

....being with good friends...PRICELESS!!! :) Donna said something to me, just before we were baptized... I wanted Jamie & Jordan there.....but I felt bad that Donna & Dr. Johnson were footing the air fare....then Donna said....."In 20 years what will you remember?" That was it..... I WANTED to remember that Jamie & Jordan WERE at our baptism & that they were part of that IMPORTANT life changing Blessing!!!! It was a PRICELESS experience!!! Hope that is how you remember your day! :) I love your family & your blogs. They are so refreshing & such a blessing to me. Thank you for this gift. :)

Sorry it was a bust, but at least you made the most of it :)

Hurray for Jackson's teeth too!! It will be interesting to see how quickly they all start coming in now. --The only bad news is you'll have to start brushing. Todd and I literaly have to tag team and pin E down to brush his chompers!
