Tennessee Camping

This weekend we went with a few friends on a camping trip. We have a state park along the Mississippi River about 30 mins away. The drive there was so cool and the campground was beautiful! I would love to go when the leaves start changing. Camping in Tennessee had a different feel to it than camping in the mountains of the west. It was really fun. The weather held out great for us and the mosquito's surprisingly stayed away. The only creepy bugs that were there were these MONSTER huge daddy long legs that kept crawling around on the table as we were playing cards. We enjoyed eating foil dinners and smores, playing some cards, and laughing alot at jokes and embarrassing stories!
The kiddos loved playing around in the dirt... especially the one boy that was there!(Yes, that would be my son) He was non stop the whole time we were there. Addy is Jackson's "girl twin." They look so similar with their fair skin, blond blond hair about the same length, and beautiful blue eyes!After Jackson was muddy as could be, we tried to set up all the pack and plays and get the kids to stay in there... it may have worked for the girls, but as you can see Jackson wanting nothing to do with being trapped... even if he did have friends to hang out with.We all bundled up the kids in tons of clothes and blankets and they all slept like champs. Jackson woke up once and I just layed him down with us (thinking yeah right is he going to like this)... well he ended up sleeping the whole night with us! I was super surprised. He woke up around his normal time at 7:30 and looked so confused but excited that he could stand up and see his parents right next to him! :)
