As you can see on my countdown, my mom is currently in town. We have been having SO much fun, I just don't want it to stop. More on her trip I am sure is to come, but first here are a couple of things that are worth blogging about.
We went to Hobby Lobby a couple of days ago and they had all of their fall decorations marked down 90% off!! That is a HUGE markdown and they still had some super cute things left. I got all of these things for $6.00!!! I repeat, $6.00!!! Originally this would have cost me $60! I was so stinkin excited. We also did a craft that required a lot of fake leaves and we got a huge thing of leaves for a dollar each. My mom is the enrichment leader at her home ward and they are doing this craft next year for their super Saturday and so she bought a ton of these leaves and is going to ship it back home. She spent $30 for $300 (I repeat, $300!!!) dollars worth of leaves! :)
Next, on Saturday we went and saw Twilight. Loved it!! Here is my opinion though... I thought it was good, but not NEAR as good as the book. It left out so much detail and I feel like with the movie you can't really understand the love and infatuation they have with each other like you do in the book. But over all because it is hard to create a movie based on one person's thoughts they did a pretty good job. I thought the characters were awesome... although I'll admit it took me a little bit to warm up to Edward, but by the end I thought it was good. My mom thinks it was slow at the first but then it got a lot better. Anyway, good none the less and you should go see it... but FIRST YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THE BOOKS IF YOU HAVEN'T YET!! :):):)

Aren't you so excited that they are going to make New Moon into a movie!?!?! The only thing that will be sad is that there is no Edward the majority of the time... boo hoo. BUT I do love the guy they have to play Jacob... he just needs to beef up a bit!!! I'm glad you shared the same opinion as me... you totally can't tell how much in love they are. It just looks like they stare alot. haha. And LOVE the Harvest decorations... that is such an awesome deal!!!

WOW OH WOW!!! Great for you and your Mom for getting such awesome deals. It's SO fun to find a bargain....or a steal. I agree 100% about Twilight. I loved the books so much more...the movie was entertaining though. I'm happy you are enjoying your mom....I'm so looking forward to you all being here. I miss Jackson, Sadie Brooklyn and Kate ;) OH and their parents too

I don't know if I could see Twilight...I am such a critic and don't know if I can stand seeing another book desecrated by movie making. Anyway, I can't tell all that you got at that craft store, but it looks like fun! Have a good thanksgiving!

Isn't hobby lobby amazing? I will be truly sad if there is not one around in our next place we live! I agree with you on Twilight. I loved it but it definitely couldn't compare to the book. Then again, what movie is better than the book?
