Christmas Highlights

Rock band:We had a Christmas surprise from Donna and Bill as soon as we walked into the house. They bought Guitar Hero and ROCK BAND!! They did this out of convincing from Justin (who gets oh so spoiled). The whole fam has had a way good time on it!
Gingerbread houses:One of the first nights we got here we suggested doing Gingerbread houses. We had a good time last year doing this with my fam, we are wanting to make it a tradition. Justin and I made the Idaho Falls Temple. Donna and Bill made the "Moulton Ranch Cabins." Nate (Jamie's Boyfriend) hadn't joined us yet, so she emailed him pictures and he was the judge. Sadly we took 2nd!
Christmas Eve:Christmas eve started out playing in the snow. We got dumped on with beautiful Christmas snow. Jackson was kind of iffy about the snow at first, but soon jumped right into it and had a good time. He and his cousin Sadie went on a ride in the sled.We went to mall and had pictures with Santa. This has been the Johnson tradition but this year we decided to just let the kiddos get in the picture. Jackson is terrified of Santa. I thought I could sneak him on his lap without him realizing that he was sitting by this guy in a red costume, but it didn't work. Anytime he would get close he would just cry and cling onto me. So, if you look closely you can see that Sadie and Jackson are sitting on some legs. Those are Morgan and I--they just cropped us out of the picture. We then went over and visited Great Grandma Johnson. Jackson was a little unsure of her too so this is the best picture we could get of the great grand kids and grandma.

And of course our Christmas Eve Jammies. The Johnson kids always do a pyramid so they did that for old times sake.

Christmas Day:

We had such a fun Christmas Day with lots of spoiling from everyone. Jackson got some fun toys from Santa including crayons (which he loves) mega blok legos, and a puzzle. Then he got spoiled from both grandparents and got a tonka truck ride on toy and a racetrack. Lane and Whit spoiled us all and they win the favorite toy award. They got him this awesome wooden toy that has pegs that go up and down when he pushes it. As soon as he opened that he didn't want to put it down. He played around with it and then he would try to crawl over all the paper and boxes refusing to let go of the toy. The picture on the left is the toy. His face just shows the pure joy of Christmas! :) The picture on the right with all the presents is titled "Where are all the grand babies?!"... see if you can spot them all amongst the chaos!! :)
