Jackson's sleep patterns seem to be off this month. He is waking up in the night, he is waking up earlier than normal, and he is having a hard time falling asleep at night and during naps. He has had a few days even where he doesn't take a nap AT ALL! (yes, mom is going crazy with this new sleep dilemma). Yesterday he had to cry it out awhile in his crib before he fell asleep for his nap. When he finally crashed I peeked in on him and he had fallen down face first in the mattress with his bum in the air... he must have been in this position for the whole 2 hour nap because when he woke up this is how I found him!! He had the worst bed head I have ever seen!! It was pretty cute actually and I left it like that all day long (okay it was because I was lazy and I knew we weren't leaving the house!) His hair is beginning to get really thick on top though.

Bed Head!!

It's the 18 month curse! With Kate it started 6 months ago. Around 18 months their sleep habits go all wacko!! I took your advice and let Kate cry herself to sleep, her nights have been better. But I am sad to report she has dropped her morning nap! Now she will only nap once a day and sometimes it is super short! I hate it too!

Aunt Donna is SOOOOO right!!! I was totally going to leave a comment that says to ask Donna about bed head :o) She beat me to it. He MUST get it from his grandma but I do have to admit that he looks cuter than Donna with his bed head. Love you Aunt Donna and to Jackson - you wear that bedhead proud!!

I like to play Dr. and find solutions to everything but sometimes there isn't anything to do about it. Hopefully for your sake he will weather it out. Addy did the same thing for awhile and I just kept the routine going and after a month or two she returned to normal. With her I think she just didn't want to miss out by falling asleep. I did have to cut down on her nap time so that she would sleep better at night. Jackson looks super cute styling his morning hair!
