Jonah is our sweet baby!! He has been so good! He spends a lot of time eating and sleeping. Although he loves to just lay on the ground and "exercise" his body. He is so chill most of the time and just goes with the flow. He also just started to do the social smiles and coos and goos and it just melts my heart every time.
He is also getting to be quite a chunk! Not really, but he is for sure getting bigger and obviously isn't hurting for food. I can't believe how much he has changed in just a few short weeks.
Not a very attractive picture of me, but a precious moment Justin caught on camera. This kid on the other hand is our HANDFUL! He is definitely a two year old and keeps us on our toes. We love him though and he is so fun. Daddy was working in his room (installing drawer stoppers on the dresser so that our handful of a child will stop throwing every article of clothing out of them) and Jackson thought it was pretty fun playing in Daddys tool bag. I thought it was cute how he was lining them all up.
Funny side story to go with it:
I'm in the kitchen making dinner while the boys are working in his bedroom and all the sudden Jackson comes in crying his eyes out.
I'm in the kitchen making dinner while the boys are working in his bedroom and all the sudden Jackson comes in crying his eyes out.
Me: Jackson, calm down and tell me what is wrong.
Jackson: Daddy hit!! Daddy hit!!
Me: What?!? Daddy hit you?!?
Jackson: yesssss (exaggerated sob in between)
Me: about ready to go in and yell at Justin for hitting his son
Justin: What he is trying to tell you is that he just hit me! I took away the hammer and that is why he is crying.
Justin: What he is trying to tell you is that he just hit me! I took away the hammer and that is why he is crying.
Me: Oh, well that makes a difference!
.....little stinker!
He loves Thomas the train lately and in fact asked Santa to bring him one for Christmas. Here he is watching the Christmas Thomas movie. He also has a bowl on his head which he thought was a pretty funny hat.
And my two boys! Jackson really does love his baby brother Jonah and is most the time pretty good with him. He always asks "Hold it Jonah" ( which is his way of saying, I want to hold Jonah) Then as soon as he gets in his lap he says "Picture now." (This comes about because when we brought Jonah home we wanted to get a picture of the boys and so now whenever he holds him he thinks he needs a picture. It's pretty funny)And last but not least here is a video of our crazy boy. He is flipping through the hymn book and singing beautifully!
