A month of firsts

First taste of rice cereal:
The Dr told us to start him on solids this month so we gave it a try a couple of weeks ago. Of course most of it came back out and I'm not sure how much he even swallowed. He was more interested in eating the bib. I didn't give it to him again until this week and the past 2 days he has been a great cereal eater. (The lighting on this picture isn't good... his hair really isn't orange:)

First Haircut:
I kept putting it off... he is just too young to have a haircut! Jackson was a year old before we did that. BUT its kind of true, it really was a bit out of control. Here are the before pictures (notice the middle one where it literally was growing past his earlobe)
Nervous taking the first snip. And here is the pile. That is A LOT of baby hair! He isn't even 5 months old and we cut a pile of hair off of the boy.
BUT I've gotta say it... he sure looks handsome with his new clean cut do. I of course still left it long because I LOVE LOVE LOVE that hair!(and on a side note, I think he looks chubbier in this picture than in real life... although I do think he is putting on some)

His hair was so long! I would have been tempted to put bows in it! You did a great job cutting it. Lucky for me I have about three years before I'll have to cut Daniel's!
