Spring Break part 2:
We LOVE having Grandma's come, but it isn't too often that Grandpas get to come too. Justin's parents decided to spend the 2nd half of Justin's Spring Break visiting us. Jackson loved having Grandpa's attention! :)
They have been before and we have done a lot of the "Memphis" tourist stuff, so we tried to find new things to do with them. Some of it worked out, some didn't.
The first thing we did was see the ducks at the Peabody. We had done this before but we never were there as they were actually walking down the red carpet. I thought it was so cute! :) Then we took the elevator to the top of the hotel where the duckys live. We hadn't done that before either. One afternoon we went to the Sam Cooper Area (a first time) and ate at a unique little cafe called "The Beauty Shop." It is an old hair salon (where apparently Priscilla Presley used to get her hair done) converted to a restaurant. The food was okay, but the portions were tiny (especially for the price). The chairs you sat in were the old hair dryers and if you notice in the back of this picture the sinks are still the old washing basins.
We then took a little day drive and went to the Casey Jones Village and train museum in Jackson, TN. We went last year but they were remodeling the museum so we thought Jackson would like the trains.

Another thing we tried to do take a tour of St. Judes Children Hospital. Donna really wanted to do this and we looked up online that we could take a self guided tour, only to find out that was old information and they only offered the tours M-F.... we went Saturday. They did have a little museum open and we went to the gift shop. Other than that we just had a good time hanging out. They brought their Wii Fit and we played that a lot. It was fun to have visitors!!
