And, I got these fun pictures when the incident happened... the camera got moist from the pool water and is now out of business for us; thus the lack of updates. Okay Okay that isn't entirely true either, but I'm going to use it as an excuse instead of my normal "I am a bad blogger blah blah blah" excuse.
When our pool opened we had a few visitors. A momma duck and ten babies made our pool their home. Here are the kiddos having fun watching them.
We came back the next day to SWIM and they were still there swimming right a long with us. Unfortunately a community pool isn't the place for duckies and we had some pretty rude people trying to chase them down and splash them. etc. They lasted for a few days and then I never saw them again.
Speaking of swimming, Jackson has become our little fishy. He has always been a bit timid about water being in his face (he hates washing out shampoo in the bath and he is scared to death of showers). So, the first few times we went he did great with his floaties, but still got nervous if his face got in the water. Then we took him to the ward swimming party and he became a new kid. He saw all the big kids jumping in the pool, going under the water, going off water slides and diving boards and realized that it isn't too bad to get your face wet. Soon enough he was jumping into the water (over and over again) going off the slide and jumping off the diving board. Now he has no fear. (which could be a bad or a good thing) He loves it and I love watching him have fun!
Stay tuned for more updates (unfortunately without pictures)

Sorry, Hay! isn't breaking your camera like breaking a piece of yourself! I hated when I didn't have a camera! I hope you find a replacement soon. I think the ducks are so cute! We love our pool too but it is so hard to get the kids to leave!
Oh man, so sorry about the camera! that sucks. I love the pics you do have though. Jack man is so cute and i love that he is a dare devil now in the pool..so is hallie and so when they get hitched they will be the perfect adventurous pair!
Your little boys are fishies! That's so much fun! Enjoy! And take pictures on your flip video camera until you can get a new one!
We had that happen with our camera once! Let it sit for a few days, maybe even a week! Ours dried out and it stills works and this was after Anth dropped it in a pond! So don't give up on it yet!
