Jonah- 9 mo.

Its true... Jojo is already 9 and 1/2 months!

9 mo stats:

18.1 lbs- 10th percentile

28 inches- 32th percentile

(I am so sad because I lost a BUNCH of pictures from the last little while, so you only get a couple pics) At 9 months Jonah:

• Claps his hands.


• Scoots around everywhere! The way he moves really is quite hilarious. He pushes off with his left big toe, and uses his right arm to help pull him forward. He has been doing this for over 2 months and has figured out how to get around. He is quite fast doing this little army scoot.


• He is just recently getting more and more onto his hands and knees. He has actually done just a few real crawls, but then realizes it is much faster to just scoot on his belly, so he quickly flops back down.


• Because he can move around so fast he is my little puppy dog. He is constantly following Mommy around the house and tends to be right at my feet.


• He does a cute little fish face and sucks in and out. When he blows out he makes a whistle sound.


• My other favorite sounds he makes is a click with his tongue and when I make a "Neighh" sound (in reference to a horse) he tries to mimic it.


• In the past week or so he is learning how to stand up on things. He scoots up to the item on his tummy, reaches up as high as he can, gets his knees under himself, and finally gets up on his feet. He isn't quite stable on his feet though so I am sure there will be quite a bit of tumbles for the little guy. In fact, the next picture is a perfect example of said subject:

He pulled himself up on the side of the tub and the next thing I knew he flipped over into the water... He didn't think it was too funny at first (notice the red bump on the head), but as soon as I got the camera he thought it was pretty fun to be bathing in his clothes. :)

• And we can't forget to move the crib mattress down after we found him like this after one of his naps
  

In other news: I know this blog has been horribly neglected and we have been quite busy since the last update. We moved into a new house a few weeks ago. We love it and hopefully will have an update about that soon. We also just got down with vacation. Me and the two little boys were able to spend a week in Jackson Hole with my parents. We had a lot of fun but unfortunately those are the pictures I lost so I don't know if we will have an update about that. I then drove down to Utah, Justin flew into SLC, and we had a family reunion with his family. Grandpa Steven's turned 80 and we had a birthday bash for him.
