Tuesday was the official day, but this boy is so spoiled and got to celebrate all weekend long!
Saturday we held a Backyard Birthday Bash for him and his little friends. I had such a fun time planning it all and he had such a good time! I am so glad it went so well. Nine of his friends came, it ran perfectly (we were able to do everything I planned on), and I think everyone had a blast. We had a lot of fun games for the kiddos including, a homemade bean bag toss game, a cake walk, a balloon popping game, and a pinata. I had a bucket full of little prizes that the kids got for participating in the games. I loved this picture of Jackson hitting his pinata. We then served a little lunch. I made BBQ pulled pork sandwiches for the adults who stayed and pb&j's for the kiddos. And of course there was cupcakes with candles! It was funny because that is really all he requested was candles for his birthday. Here he is with a frosting mustache and all!Jackson was also spoiled and lucky because he got to celebrate with a few special guests. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Uncle Jeff came all the way from Illinois to celebrate. Since Monday was Labor Day they were here and Justin had school off so we did our family celebration then. Look at that loot of presents! He is loved by his parents, grandparents, and great grandparents! (Thanks everyone for spoiling him!!) :)After opening all the gifts we pulled out the last one of all, his first bike! He LOVES it! The first day I wondered if he was ever going to learn how to pedal, but by day 3 he has it mastered. And he looks so cute in his helmet from G&G Blake. We love our 3 year old!!

Aw..how fun. Wish I could have been there! Good job Hay on the paty!!
I can't believe he's 3! I tried to get Jason to do the Swagbucks thing but it didn't work. I need to try it again. Have you ever heard of www.savingabundle.com? They are all local sales. I use it a lot and have found some really good stuff for a pretty good deal. (that's where I found out about the swagbucks)
Happy late Birthday to Jackson! I bet he loves that bike!
