Well we did it; we had our first Christmas at our own home with our little family. And we LOVED it!
I made my first Christmas Eve feast and it turned out soooo yummy! I am sticking with my mom's tradition of cooking the big meal on Christmas Eve so that Christmas day I don't have to spend all day in the kitchen and we can eat leftovers.
After dinner, Jackson made some cookies for Santa.
Then they opened up their Christmas Jammies, took a bath, and waited with anticipation to see what the morning would bring them. Jackson did wake up in the middle of the night to go potty and as he was half asleep he told me he wanted to go out and see his presents. I was a bit worried he wasn't going to go back to sleep and that we would be up at 4:30 am. Luckily I gave him some milk and he went to sleep till 7:30.
Christmas morning was really fun with the boys. Jackson was so excited about opening the presents. In fact I don't think he really had time to look at what he got until the end because he was just so excited to unwrap the next one.
He even made sure he helped everyone else open theirs. Here he is "helping" dad.
Jonah on the other hand loved climbing on the boxes! :)
It really has been one of our favorite Christmas's thus far.

Christmas at home can be so fun! You get to do your own traditions and just enjoying being together without any running around!

OH my..I could crying looking at all your updated posts! I am glad to finally see all these pictures. I do wish we could be there for all these fun times...July is just around the corner, right??!? Love you guys!

I'm glad you had so much fun being here at Christmas! Your kids are so cute. I laughed at your 5k story because the same thing happened to me at the half. I had three bathroom stops!
