Here are some other things we did to celebrate the Holidays around our house.
Decking the Halls. Jackson had fun helping decorate the tree even though he was fighting off a fever that day. Jonah had fun rolling around in the ornaments. (Good thing they are shatter proof) :)

A few days before Christmas we had a little bit of snow fall. (Look closely... its there I promise!) We dressed the boys up in their coats, hats, and gloves and took them out even before we ate breakfast to let them play in the flurries. Its a good thing, because I think it was all melted after we got done eating.
We enjoyed a ward Christmas party. This cracked me up because for part of the program they had all the little kids sit on the ground as the bishop read a Christmas book. They all gathered round and the next thing I knew Jackson was climbing onto the stage and just planted himself onto the couch next to the bishop. Apparently he couldn't see the pictures if he was on the ground :)
Our traditional gingerbread houses. This is the first year we did a store bought one and the first year Jackson got to help. He loved it!We went to a "Christmas festival" that I heard advertised on the radio. I thought it would be cool. It was way expensive and really lame. They did have a little "petting zoo" with some interesting animals, such as this one below. This is a Watusi, which is a cow from Africa. Those horns have it's own blood supply to help it stay warm... interesting eh?
We payed to go see Santa. Jackson loved it. Jonah wanted NOTHING to do with it. As soon as he felt me about to set him on his lap he started bawling! Needless to say, we got a picture with just Jackson on his lap. (I will have to scan it in and post it later)
We did "splurge" and buy a ticket for this one ride... then after the cost of admission, seeing Santa, and this one ride we had to head home. Jackson screamed the whole time cause he wanted to stay. Yeah, we wont be doing that again.

I'm sad Christmas is over for another year, but we made some good memories this year.

Jackson sounds like a smart kid to me. Clearly, he had the best spot in the house for storytime.
What a cute kid! What a great moment to capture!
