April Update

Besides Easter, here are some other events of April:

1- We had the Southern College of Optometry Senior Sendoff.  This is the last night that all the seniors will probably see eachother until Graduation.  We are officially in our last year and externs have begun.  Many people leave and go to other places in the country to complete their externships.  We are sticking it out here in Memphis.
This is our "group" of LDS students that we got together with often through out the years. Left to Right we have: Jason and Christina Kowallis, John and Rachel Erikson, Us, Buddy and Becky Beazer, and Josh and Whitney McAdams.  We missed the Olsens that night.

Most of the LDS SCO wives... Its true, these boys couldn't have done it without us! :)

 2- Jonah turned 18 months at the end of the month.  He transitioned awesome into nursery.  It was weird because I wasn't as anxious this time to get him in there, but I must say it makes fulfilling our Young Women and Primary callings a lot easier without having to bring him.  (The best picture we could muster of his first day of nursery)

 3- The Memphis Grizzlies made it to the Playoffs!!  We were so excited about it. We went to the first playoff game, and they won! Even though they had made it to the playoffs twice before, this was their first playoff win...and we were there!  They beat out San Antonio (only the 4th time an 8 seed beat out a 1st seed). We tried as much as possible to watch all the playoff games, unfortunately Memphis didn't make it past the 2nd round.  We were really proud of them though.
