"Are we going to climb a mountain today" --Jackson Johnson (Part 2)

Day 2 of the reunion was hike day. Jackson woke up that morning so excited exclaiming, "Are we going to climb a mountain today?!"  Each year we hike the blacktail butte in memory of our loved ones.  Years ago my Uncle Dayle's ashes we spread upon the top of the mountain and each year we make a memorial hike for him, and now in memory of my great grandparents.

Justin is always a trooper carrying one of the kids upon his back

There are two "meadows" upon arriving to the top.  As we crossed through the forrest into the first meadow the view was spectacular!  In all the years we have been going none of us remember the wildflowers being this grandeur.

Seriously, look at this!!!

I am always in charge of making a bouquet to place upon the top for Uncle Dayle, and this year all the colors made it easy to come up with something beautiful.

The whole hikin' crew.

The grandkids takin' a break with G&G (Jonah apparently didn't want to sit and take a picture... other than him I LOOOOVE this picture!!)

The "Moulton" posterity.  A huge shout out to my amazing Grams who always hikes with love and excitement in her heart.  She has never missed a year and climbs like a mountain goat!!
