Part 3--- The Aquarium

The little town of Gatlinburg is pretty much owned be Ripley's.  There are about 7 different Ripley's attractions.  The one I really wanted to go to was the Aquarium.
(Jackson was getting pretty good of taking Justin and I's picture... finally we can be in a picture together! ;)

We had a lot of fun looking at all the interesting sea life.

Jackson and Jonah found some familiar fish.  Nemo and Dora from Finding Nemo.

We also enjoyed a couple of diving shows at the coral reef and sting ray bay.  The boys gave the divers high fives through the glass.

But my favorite was the underground shark tunnel.  There were hundreds of shark swimming around us!
My FAVORITE picture of all time... Justin and Jackson don't seem too sure about a sharp toothed shark swimming to get them....

Jonah enjoyed looking at them up close too (or maybe it was his reflection he was enjoying)

After the String Ray Dive show, they let us touch the rays...  Jackson was nervous, but he did it.  Jonah cried when we helped him touch them

And our last night we walked the "strip" of downtown Gatlinburg. We walked by all the Ripley's museums and took pictures of the things we could see from the outside.
Here we have Ripley's World Record Museum with the worlds tallest man.  He was sitting in a chair and when you walked up to him he stood up.

This was Ripley's famous car museum.  Anyone remember Kirby??  This is the original car.  Jackson took a brochure of the place and carried it around all weekend... such a boy! ;)

We loved our Smokey Mountain Vacation!!

Haylee, you're funny :) The car's name is Herbie, and the fish's name is Dori :) Looks like you're not as obsessed with Disney as I am....that's probably a good thing. Tell Jackson he did an awesome job with the picture, too--it IS pretty funny to imagine him holding the camera to take the picture of you two...
