Hoppy Easter

Our Easter festivities began on Saturday.  Jackson had his first soccer game of the season that morning and then we headed to an Easter Egg hunt.

There was  a ton of people and they clumped all the eggs into piles so it was a bit crazy!

Later that day we dyed Easter Eggs.  Jackson explains the process like this: "We got cups with lots of colors.  Then we got a spoon and slowly put the eggs into it."  Both boys had a lot of fun with it, but I think Jackson especially had fun!

Jonah wasn't quite as particular as Jackson so here he is showing off his colored hands after the process! ;)

Easter Morning.  The boys got to look in their baskets and open Grandma and Grandpa Blake's package to them.  They sure love the excitement of holidays and it was fun to see how fun they were having.

Jackson is really into questioning why we can't see certain people such as Jesus, the Easter Bunny, or Santa.  I was telling him that the Easter Bunny is just really sneaky.  Then he said, "Is that part of his job?"
Later as we were walking around in the living room he looked up at me and said in a wondering voice, "I bet the Easter bunny walked right here!"

After the baskets we headed out to find where the Easter Bunny hid all our colored eggs.  (Yes, I know their jammies are a bit ghetto... it was "chilly" night so we stuck them in their totally awesome sweat pants!)

I'm lovin' the updates too. Thanks! Easter is so fun. Wish they could have been here to hunt with their cousins. It was nice they got to talk on the phone. They went on forever! It will fun to see them together in July.

I am so proud of you! You have been doing updates like crazy! I miss your boys so much. I told Iola I so wished all the kids lived closer because the holidays just aren't the same without everyone. Love all the pictures!

Cathing up on your blog activities, and wondering why I'm so far behind. Could be I'm old?? I love the smiles on those little guy's faces, washing their bikes, dying eggs and EVERYTHING they do. I'll be so happy to see them in July ... can it move up a little faster??
