When we woke up the next morning we were finally in the middle of the ocean. It was funny cause when we first got on the ship we were in the lounge area and then went straight to our rooms. Jackson kept saying, "When are we going to get on the huge boat? Why aren't we on the huge boat yet?" We kept tell him we were. It wasn't until he saw the water that he looked at Jonah and said, "Oh, I guess we are on the boat." Apparently the boarding was pretty anti climatic for him! ;)
This is the back of the ship near the wing. There were basketball courts, a volleyball court and a small pool area up here.
Another trip up to play mini golf.
This is the front of the boat. The mini golf course and a walking/jogging track.
Jackson practicing his photography skills.
Later that afternoon we took the kids to the camp carnival and I thought Justin and I could enjoy some relaxation time. He didn't last long as you can see in the next pictures how miserable he was. In his own words. "Haylee and apparently a bunch of other people think that it is fun to lay out in the miserably hot sun. It's not!"
So we picked up the boys and enjoyed the cool pools for a while.
Jackson liked to jump in and splash in the small pools. Jonah just clinged onto Justin and I and wouldn't attempt to float on his own even though LAST YEAR he was floating around all by himself.

Every night there was a late night for the kids. Keeping in mind that our kids usually go to sleep at 7:00 when we are home and they didn't get to bed until 10-10:30 every night. Most of the time they did great, but there were the occasional melt downs where you could tell the lack of sleep was catching up with them. This particular time was when we were getting ready for dinner that evening. Jonah was having a rough time and Jackson was laying on the bed watching TV. Jonah went and layed on him and Jackson just rubbed and patted his back trying to console him. I thought it was such a cute brotherly moment.
The funniest thing about this picture though is when we were looking through some of our pictures later in the week on my computer we got to this one and Jonah just started cracking up laughing hysterically at it... I'm glad the kid can learn to laugh at himself and the hard times later on. :)

I love the picture of Justin's misery. It looks like exactly what your Dad would do... Although I don't think he would have even tried it. He would have headed straight for the shade somewhere.
