We have thoroughly enjoyed Justin's Spring Break. It has been so fun to spend so much time together as a family and Jackson has seemed to be extra happy and hyper having daddy home this week. Here are some of our adventures:

On Monday we went to a town an hour away called Jackson, TN. We actually went to do a SVOSH presentation. The presentation went so good and the members of the Lions Club were so generous and helping us with our goal. In fact, they promised to make up the rest of the money Justin and I need ($800)!!! It was so nice of them!
While we were there we decided to "explore" and see what Jackson had to offer us.... not much. But they do have this cute little area called the "Casey Jones Village." It has a restaurant, an old fashioned ice cream parlor, some cute shops, and an old railroad museum. Unfortunately most of it was closed, including the museum because it was under construction. But we did have a good time looking at one of the gift shops and eating ice cream and shakes!

We also went to the zoo! I was so excited to get to the zoo because when we went the first couple of times when we first moved here, Jackson didn't know what was going on. Now he knows a lot about animals and the names and noises they make. And he did love it! It was so fun! I think the zoo is just as exciting as the kids do. Although it was still a bit cold, so we only stayed for an hour or so.
Here are some videos for your enjoyment:
1- Jackson looking at the Lions. He does say Rarrr when I ask what a Lion says, but for some reason he only Rarrrs in a whisper, so listen close. He then hears an airplane and makes that noise! :)
2- Looking at the bald eagles and ravens. He loves birds!
We did enjoy some other fun things this week including taking Jackson to the park and watching him go down the slides all by himself saying "weeee" the whole time. I didn't get pics or videos though. Mostly we enjoyed relaxing and being together!

At first I only saw the Jackson part, and I thought that you were in Jackson, WY! I am glad you were able to have fun for Spring break!
Don't worry, you didn't miss much at the Casey Jones museum. We went a couple of years ago and it's just a 'bunch of zip wrapped up in nada' (I read that in one of Easton's library books and thought it was funny - I've been looking for an opportunity to use it!).
Fun times!! I want to come and go to the zoo with you! I love the zoo and E and Jacks would have a blast. Congratulations on meeting your goal... your presentation must have been a hit!
Ohhh thank you! We are excited about our little baby! I am feeling great! I think I am one of those lucky ones that doesn't get morning sickness :) All of your pictures are so cute! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun over spring break! :):)
