Out of the Mouth of Babes

My calling in our ward is in the Primary Presidency. I LOVE it! I have grown to love those children and can feel the Saviors love for them every time I see one of their faces. Plus, kids are hilarious! I wanted to do a post in their honor.

Each Sunday we spotlight a different child. I asked for the parents to have the children answer the questions in their own words. Here are some of my favorites

I want to be a Princess in a Castle when I grow up

I want to be a bear when I grow up

I want to be an eagle when I grow up

I want to be a teenager when I grow up

I want to be a BIG mommy when I grow up

I want to be a grocery store cashier when I grow up (Isn't it funny how that seems like the dream job when you are little?)

My favorite scripture person is..."Jesus and Hinckley."

My favorite color is..."I like all the colors. I don't like white. I don't like black." (She was wearing a black and white dress the day she was spotlighted)

I am special because... I love Yoplait Whips yogurt

I am special because....Jesus sent me here, and I love people and I love my mom and dad. (When I spotlighted her that day she said, "Actually, its because I love you."... haha she made MY day!)

My favorite scripture person is... Jesus (about every child Sunbeam-CTR6, put that one as an answer) :)

And my two favorites:

2-I want to be "Ariel's sister with the orange fin and brown hair. I think her name is Atina," when I grow up.

1- I am special because...."My mama told me that. I'm the only special one in the world. And all the people in the world are special. Even in Utah."

That was hilarious! I especially liked the last one. "And all the people in the world are special . . . even in Utah!" I feel so loved :) since that's where I grew up!

How cute! I didn't know that you are in the Primary presidency. I teach CTR 5 and they are a handful!
