34 week bump

My baby bump is getting bigger and bigger, and I feel it every step of the way. Only 6 weeks left and I'm getting anxious to be done. I don't remember feeling this way quite this soon with Jackson, but I feel like this pregnancy is taking a bigger toll on me. It could also be the fact that I have a toddler who is also keeping me busy (and exhausted).
I am totally nervous about having 2 kids though. There are times when I feel "Ok. Jackson is manageable... he is doing a better job at listening to me and I can reason with him a little bit more now." And then there are the days when I feel "What the heck am I thinking having another baby when I can barely handle this child. He is impossible to take anywhere and there is no way we are leaving the house when I have 2 to worry about!"
I haven't even started preparing for the arrival of this one, other than getting Jackson in the toddler bed. (which btw, since my last post we have made GREAT progress... We found something that worked for us and 5 days in a row he has had a nap in the bed) All the baby stuff is still shoved in the closet and I've hardly thought about anything else that needs to be done before he gets here. Justin keeps telling me I need to start nesting. Aren't I suppose to get an urge or something?! Cause it sure hasn't hit me yet... all in due time I suppose.

You have the most darling baby bump and still look so small! And your hair is getting very very long.

you look great! and I think you look like your mom! the nesting will come, don't worry! I thought I would have a hard time with two but it isn't too bad. I make Kate wait if I need to feed Daniel or change his diaper. I give Daniel to Ian and Kate and I still have our nightly routine together. I think it helps having one-on-one time. You'll do great!

Just wait until you're pregnant with your 3rd! It just keeps getting harder! I was ready to be done with pregnancy about 3 months ago! Now that I'm 3 days overdue, I'm TOTALLY ready to be done!

Anyway, I won't lie. Adding another to the brood is tough at first. It wasn't until Malia was about 6 months old that I felt like I might actually want more than the 2 I already had. Just hang in there!

Haylee- you are so cute!! You look way too good to be pregnant. I agree with Jam your hair is getting super long. I haven't seen it that long since high school.

I am so glad that you have found something that has worked for you with Jackson and the bed.
I, too, remember feeling that way...before I realized the bump was 2 babies...so I hope you find some measure of peace, knowing that YOU WILL BE AMAZING!
Jackson will grow up a littl emore than you want him to after baby comes, which will be hard, but he will rise to tha occasion and be a greta help. If not, send him to Auntie Morgan! If I didn't have a hundred kids, I would come stay with you...
Call if you ever wanna talk through some of this anxiety!
Hugs
Morgan

Haylee, you look great. Don't worry I was really nervous about the 2 kids thing, and the first coupple weeks are pretty hard, but then you adjust and it all works out! It's a lot of fun now for me and my little boy is such a good big brother! Your almost done! That is such a good feeling, but I totally had the same concerns before my little girl was born. Your a great mom, you'll do awesome!

I love reading your blog because it echos so many of my feelings. I feel like Jackson and Luke are so much alike and I haven't prepared AT ALL for a new baby either. I'm worried about 2 - especially with how scary it is to go the grocery store or anywhere in public with just Luke. Sometimes he's a maniac. :) Anyway, what I'm trying to say here is that I'm feeling you sister.

You're looking grrrrrreat, Hay! I'm excited for you to join the two kiddos crazy train. You know how it's been for us... nutso, but oh so fun! I imagine that's how you'll feel too - Days where you're not sure you want this job and then days where you wouldn't trade it! Oh- and I have a disk of family/maternity pics and a gift to send your way... so be on the look out :)

Now I am worried about 3 we are out numbered! Just always plan lots of time for your outings or just start buying things online! You will do great and boys are fun..really!
