Halloween Hoopla

Halloween went on for a long time at our house... but we loved it!
Our Halloween Party:
Justin and I have made it somewhat of a tradition of ours to host a little get together with friends around Halloween. This year we invited our school friends over for a Halloween dinner party. Most everyone dressed up and then we provided the most delicious chili.
Here is our family: The tortuous and the hare, a witch, and a mime. (I came up with Justin's costume about an hour before the party started) Jackson was so funny and would say all night, "My mom's being a witch!" I told him he was only allowed to say that on Halloween! :)This is the goblin cheesball we made. I thought it turned out so cute!!Here is just a few of the families that came:
The Beazers: Peanuts gang. Lynus, Peppermint Patty, and Charley Brown.
The Ericksons: An Eye Ball (on the baby bump) :) and an Eye Chart.
The McAdams: Witch, Fall Fairy, and a Memphis Burglar Carving Pumpkins:
Jackson wasn't into the goop and guts like last year when we carved pumpkins. He actually didn't have much to do with it and thought it was disgusting when Daddy pretended to eat it. I got the perfect picture of prove this point.
So he had a good time painting his own little pumpkin instead.Jonah however thought it was pretty fun to stick his hand in the hollow pumpkin and examine some guts.I ended up carving both the pumpkins this year. Ward Party:
We had the ward party on Saturday. Unfortunately we had a really busy day that day and the party in my opinion was too late for little kiddos. Jackson was exhausted and really didn't enjoy all the excitement. Here he is with a couple of his pre school girlfriends, Kaylee and Hadley.
And here is Justin's creative costume that night. :)
Trick or Treating
On Sunday we were sinners and took the boys trick or treating to a few houses on our street. Jackson was so excited about this and called it "Going to the neighborhood and ring on bells!"
However when we got home he had just as much fun if not more, handing out candy to the trick or treators that "rang on our bell".
They came home with a bunch of candy and for about 3 days straight Jackson had such a fun time just looking at it all and playing with it. Here he and Grandma lined it all up in line that crossed our whole family room!
