Justin had the day off and we wanted to do something fun for Jackson. Our first idea fell through and so we decided to go to the local fire station and let Jackson look at the firetrucks. They were so nice and let him see everything he wanted. At first he was timid and kinda scared, but soon he warmed right up and loved the "big huge firetruck"
Sitting in the back where the firemen sit
Wearing the big fire helmet
Fireman Bryce and Lieutenant Chip even gave him the special treatment and let him climb up the latter and onto the big bucket on top of the truck. They said they didn't normally do that, but they made an exception for him. He loved it and now wont stop talking about the firetruck, hat, Chip and Bryce, lights, driving it, up high, etc. :)

FUN! And thats awesome that he got the special treatment!
Wow ... what fun ... maybe we will have another fireman in the family! Grandpa Terry fireman went to a funeral with the BIG old firetrucks this week ... Jackson would have loved it!
Glad you are alive! Funny, I think the funeral your grandma mentions was the uncle of my boss. It was in IF and he was a retired fire captain there. Jackson looks like he had a ball! You guys come up with such fun stuff to do.
What was your first idea??? What a FUN idea for a little boy. I looked over and read my blog book last night....talk about being far behind.
Grandpa said he was on a 'snorkle' that has a lift boom that goes 65 feet in the air, used to fight LARGE fires. They should have taken him outside with the truck & lifted him up on the boom!
Haylee, Jackson is SO dang cute. I just wanna eat him up. Oh my goodness- i just love his cute little face and blondie blonde hair!
That looks like a ton of fun! Jackson seriously looks like he's in heaven! How cool that they were so nice to him!
Oh thank you for the comment! We are so loving our little girl!
Time does fly, especially when you have kids! Probably even more with TWO kids! Your boys are so cute. And I can't believe all the blond hair that your bebe has! I LOVE it! I have never seen that before! Hope you are all doing great!
How fun!! What a fun idea. What cool parents, and firefighters!!!
